Personally, I love taking pictures of food and sharing kitchen inspiration with my friends but the truth is not everyone is lucky enough to know where their next meal is coming from. If you're on the Internet and seeing my post, you're probably one of the lucky ones too.
In Canada, the number of people who use food banks each year could fill Toronto's Rogers' Centre 17 times...but sometimes there's not enough food to go around.
So what can we do? Asking my foodie friends to think about adding some canned goods to their grocery list this week and to drop them off in a food bank bin(most grocery stores have them). I'll be doing the same.
Post a pic to your social media about what you're doing & ask your friends to join you. Use the hashtags #WeScareHunger and #shareyourlight2015
Perhaps we can start a chain of kindness that will continue forward...

For every like and comment @unileverusa will donate a meal to @feedingamerica and perhaps we can use the power of social media to do something that will make the world a little better, a little warmer and a little less hungry.
